A family-run Worcestershire logistics firm has secured two key industry accreditations for its exceptional commitment to food safety, quality and legal compliance.
Marshall’s Transport, which is based in Pershore, has been awarded the highest AA certification by the British Retail Consortium Global Standards (BRCGS).
The BRCGS AA grading is the highest food safety and quality standard available and signifies the highest possible level of compliance around packaging, food, storage and distribution.
Marshall’s has also been awarded Soil Association certification for the storage of ambient pre-packed organic products.
This accreditation enables the company to handle organic products at its UK warehouse and is subject to regular inspections to ensure compliance.
Marshall’s, which is a member of the Wolverhampton-based Pallet-Track network, was recognised for its commitment to training staff in managing organic goods, implementing segregated storage to avoid cross-contamination and its tight controls around stock and goods-in processes.
